Camp Huston: Summer 2021

Camp Huston, located in Gold Bar WA, is an Episcopal summer camp and conference center owned by the Diocese of Olympia.

Join Camp Huston for the 2021 Summer Camp season! We’ll be offering a selection of sessions starting in June with Counselor Training (ages 16 and up), three sessions of Discovery Camp (grades 3-10), Mini Camp (grades 1-5), and two new Summer Family Camp sessions (all ages). We look forward to guiding our campers as they grow into leaders, discover their place in nature, build self esteem, and have fun! Sign up your child or your entire family! We look forward to seeing you this summer.

What can campers expect?
We spend a lot of time in Discovery Groups, which consist of two cabins of similarly-aged campers, their counselors, and a Discovery Group Leader. Every group is unique and has an identity all its own. There will be games, songs, hikes, team-building activities, camp outs, archery, swimming, crafts, and a time for reflection at the end of each day. Outside of our Discovery Groups, the whole community joins for meals in Curtis Lodge, as well a campfire, a variety show, and a dance during the week. An Episcopal priest from the Diocese of Olympia joins us every session to provide counsel and participate in program activities.  They also help Discovery Groups plan chapel for each night. We hope that you’ll make friends, experience nature and have fun!
